JOOP (NL) found a minute in his busy schedule for us this week to share the tracks that are to be found in his latest sets!

ØRJAN NILSEN – COPPERFIELD (Original Mix) [ARMIND]

If you take the title of this track than certainly we can speak of some magic. I think Ørjan thought exactly the same way when he finished this baby in the studio. Magic is a good word to describe the amount and consistency that Ørjan is keeping up the last few months on the release flow. ‘Copperfield’ cuts the raw edge of tech-house, combined with some piano and synths. A stunning break, and after this it takes you to a full-on outburst of the Nilsen sound. A very good track with a real edge to it. A peak time track that really spices up your Dj set. A must have boys and girls! 4/5 (JOOP)

THE ASTON SHUFFLE vs. TOMMY TRASH – SUNRISE (Tommy Trash Version) [AXTONE RECORDS]

Axtone gets back with what they do best, releasing good music. ‘Sunrise (Won’t Get Lost)’ brings together the skills of The Aston Shuffle and the infamous Tommy Trash. I just love this track! I played it in my Focus Radio Podcast and got huge feedback on this track. The vocals are just stunning and the whole structure of the track is very well produced. Nuff said, check it! 5/5 (JOOP)

LEON BOLIER & ALEX KENJI – TRUMPETS (Leon Bolier Club Mix) [SPINNIN’]

Driving again on low frequencies, this will do much damage around the globe! The last review I did about Leon was the massive track US that also came from this multi talent. This time he does the trick with Alex Kenji. If you see the track title and makes you think does it contain trumpets? Yes it does. If you like dirtiness and complete madness than this club mix is what you were after. At first things sound happy and even sometimes gives you a little flashback to some old school ska feel. After this it rolls into the breakdown and……the trumpets! When we pass the lovely trumpets all this will build up to nothing but pure madness with an awesome ending. Love it! 5/5 (JOOP)

JACE WILLIAMS – OPEN UP (Purple Stories remix) [DEVA RECORDINGS]

More down tempo than the original is, but definitely not less interesting. If I have to give it a genre then I would know what to call it. But as we all know, I like to talk about electronic music instead of genres, so let’s just call it awesome. This track is really haunting in its flow and build up, especially with the choppy vocals on top of it going towards a nice breakdown. The breakdown will for fill everyone’s wish on the dance floor. Hands up in the air! It will take you to a melodic atmosphere and from there on it’s getting right into those dancing shoes on again. Can you taste it? I can – I’m flying! 4 /5 (JOOP)

PROMISED LAND ft. GEORGI KAY – EMOTIONS (John Dahlback Remix) [BIG BEAT]

Big beat nailed this big! Emotions in the Dahlback remix is a very powerful club tool. Emotions is the right feel for this remix. A beautiful produced track and a real floor filler for the clubs! With its raw bass line and deep kick it will get noticed without a doubt. Georgi Kay did an absolute awesome job on providing the vocals. Power house! In my playlist for sure! 4/5 (JOOP)
